A technology for forming submicron particle layers on substrates by aerosol flow systems.

An aerosol flow system has been constructed to mimic the delivery of particles to the air-liquid interface. Potentially be applied for the deposition and analysis of submicron particles on various types of substrate without the need for vacuum imaging analysis..

(Patent) Charge-Interactive nano-Particle Deposition (CIPD) & Optical Properties

Patent application (2018/2/7): A method to control the interaction between the surface charge of colloidal nanoparticles and the charge of aerosol droplets generated by electrospray. This is the first study in the world to investigate this interaction.

Where are our graduates now? (Lenggoro Lab)

In April 2018: Six students (D/M/B) graduated, after year(s) worked with us. Here is the updated data of our lab’s 40+ graduates, 11 years after the lab started. Because “diversity matter” is our lab’s keyword, the graduates’ positions also have diversity. Only one company (Toray Industries) has two graduates. Four graduates changed the job places….

Open Lab (4 Aug. 2017) for high-school students and parents.

On 4 Aug. as an event of OPEN CAMPUS, more than 70 high students and their parents were in our lab (together with our next room: Takiyama Lab). We demonstrated an experiment on material transfer: Spraying liquid (solution) to produce micrometer sized droplets (mist), and measuring (in real-time) the size of their dried powder. This experiment can also explain…
