Nov.15: An article in Advanced Powder Technology, 2006 (WL: co-author) was extracted in Top 10 Cited (#3) articles published in the last five years (data from: Scopus, Elsevier)

Oct.19: Dr. Heru Setyawan (a faculty member of Departmet of Chemical Engineering, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya, Indonesia) joined as Graduate School of BASE Visiting Fellow, for one month. > www.ITS

Oct.3: STEP program awardee (with the JASSO scholarship, one year): INDAH NURMAWATI joined as an exchange student. She is a final-year bachelor student of Dept. of Physics, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), a sister university of TUAT.


Sept.4 Three students (including one externally from another Lab) passed the entrance examination for Graduate School of BASE. They may join the group in April 2010 as Master degree’s students.

June 4: Article on WL’s comment was printed in an Indonesian newspaper (Pikiran Rakyat)

June 11: Together with colleagues at School of Agriculture, we started the long-term (few months) experiment on “aerosol and plants” using six chambers in Fuchu campus.

May 19-23: Dr. Tunlawit Satapnajaru (Environmental Science, Kasetsart University) visiting us.
May 1: Four master degree students and a bachelor degree student got official job offers, for April 2010.

April 14: Mr. Burimparth Pakornsiri (as visiting fellow) from Dept. of Environmental Science, Kasetsart University, Thailand joining for two months.
April 14: Ms. Sureepun Wannasawang, graduate student, Kasetsart University visited for a week.
April 10: Nazli Naim (Doctoral student) is named the 2009 Atoda Scholarship Fellow (a program at TUAT for graduate students)…東京農工大学 阿刀田央一基金受賞
