Tomato Seed Power: Particles for Growth
This dissertation explores novel techniques to enhance tomato seed germination and seedling establishment, critical aspects for modern agriculture and food security. Focusing on particle transport within plants, the research investigates:
- Impact of nanoparticles on seed morphology and beneficial microbes like Bacillus sp.
- Potential of candle soot, an unconventional material, as a seed germination enhancer.
- Priming using silica nanoparticles to improve seed resilience against stress
- Innovative stem-based particle delivery for future plant science applications.
These findings pave the way for sustainable agricultural practices and increased crop yields.
