He is now a full-professor (Chemical Engineering) at Univ. Sebelas Maret (UNS), one of national universities in Central Jawa, Indonesia. He is also the leader of a national project on lithium ion battery. His lab can produce thousands of battery cells per day.

He is the director of “Center of Excellence (COE) for Electrical Energy Storage Technology” Pusat Unggulan Iptek – Perguruan Tinggi Teknologi Penyimpanan Energi Listrik (PUI-PT TPEL) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) (established in 2020)
