One of our alumni, Doris Nekesa Khaemba (TUAT, B. Eng. 2011) got the Marie Curie Research Fellowship マリー・キュリー奨学金  for taking master and doctoral degrees in Europe.

In October 2012, she starts a doctoral program with Leeds University, U.K.

In 2016 she awarded The Tribology Trust Bronze Medal from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers UK (University of Leeds) The award is given in recognition of significant research contributions in the field of tribology made by a young researcher, with only one medal awarded annually.
